2011 Cricket World Cup Groups

In all there are 14 teams participating in four World Cup Cricket Groups, where each team will play once against their opponents in the group stage world cup fixtures. In all there are 36 Cricket World Cup games to enjoy and the top four teams from each group will go through to the quarter finals stage of the 2011 Cricket World Cup.

There is an even spread of the top teams through the two groups with Australia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan and New Zealand the top four seeds in Group A, they will be expected to progress but will need to be careful of the threat posed by Zimbabwe, Canada and Kenya who will all be looking to cause an upset and move into the Quarter-Finals. It is a similar situation in Group B with India, South Africa, England and the West Indies the top seeds, the will have to be careful of slipping up against the likes of Bangladesh who will be dangerous, Holland and Ireland.
